Addisons is pleased to be hosting a presentation on 26 July of direct relevance to all companies engaged in marketing.
The presentation will be chaired by John Holloway, the Chief Executive of the Direct Selling Association of Australia, and will focus on the following areas:
- Recent amendments to the Trade Practices Act which have material consequences for all companies engaged in direct selling and marketing;
- Recent developments and proposed changes in connection with the regulation of foods and dietary products in New Zealand and the ramifications of those changes for Australian consumer goods suppliers, particularly those companies which are active in the nutritional foods and sports supplements sectors.
- Necessary changes to marketing practices as a result of recent increased powers of the ACCC together with necessary redrafting of standard-form consumer contracts.
The presentation will take place at 8:30am on 26 July 2010 in Norwest Business Park.
