Ian has had broad experience in various areas of practice extending over 35 years, including litigation, principally in the Federal Court and in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court, property, liquor licensing, commercial leasing and succession.
Cases in which Ian has been involved and which have reached the law reports include Gaul v Law (Federal Court) and Australian Co-operative Foods Limited v Norco Co-operative Limited (Supreme Court Equity Division).
At present, Ian specialises in the areas of commercial leasing, property and succession. He was a Partner from 1976 to June 2008 and is now a consultant to the firm.
