Daniel is an experienced and solutions-focused corporate, funds management and finance lawyer. He uses his broad legal and commercial experience to drive successful outcomes for his clients.
Daniel's expertise has been gained in private legal practice, as in-house counsel and as investment banker, including working for Macquarie Bank for approximately four years in both legal and commercial capacities.
Prior to his time at Macquarie Bank, Daniel worked in the Corporate - Mergers & Acquisitions group of Freehills, a pre-eminent Australian commercial law firm.
Daniel has acted on a wide variety of public and private corporate transactions, including cross-border public company and listed fund takeovers, schemes of arrangement and capital raisings, for clients such as Macquarie Bank, Macquarie Countrywide Trust, Macquarie Office Trust, Metcash, George Weston Foods and CSR.
Daniel has advised on and managed the structuring, establishment and management of domestic and international real estate and debt funds, and the acquisition and operation of funds management businesses.
Daniel also has extensive cross-border experience in loan and joint venture structuring, restructuring, workouts and enforcement.
Daniel was admitted as a solicitor in Australia in 1997, and joined Addisons as Special Counsel in 2010.
